The Sales Team
Francesco Camerlingo
Francesco Camerlingo joined the Group in 2020 as Group Head of Sales & Business Development.
Francesco is a fully qualified Italian lawyer and holds a LL.M. in Economics and Business Law, with a long-standing career in International Law Firms and Institutions, such as Allen & Overy and Hogan Lovells in Milan, as well as IBFD in Amsterdam. In 2011 Francesco joined Swiss Life Global Solutions as Wealth Planner. He was then appointed Head of Sales Switzerland in 2014 and in 2016 Head of Sales Europe South & East.

Fabrizio Palumbo
Fabrizio Palumbo has more than 20 years’ experience in Life Insurance Business and Wealth and Tax Planning for UHNWI clients. Graduating in Business & Economics, he started his career in the market analysis department for private clients at Banca Commerciale Italiana (Banca Intesa) and then as Team Manager in the Wealth planning department at UBI Banca – Private Investment. Fully qualified and registered with R.U.I.- IVASS (Italian Insurance Supervisory Authority), he pursued his career as insurance broker, providing advice and distributing insurance products for HNWI / UHNWI clients. He previously served as Sales Director at Valorlife AG and Swiss Life Global Solutions.

Volkan Morel
Volkan Morel has over 30 years’ experience in the banking and insurance industry covering different positions. He started his carrier at BSI-Banca della Svizzera Italiana and was later engaged as Investment Solution Manager and Senior Sales Professional at UBS Global Asset Management. Moving to the Wealth Management division, Volkan was leading the Turkish Desk both at UBS and Clariden Leu Private Bank in Zurich and later developed the Turkish Market at Banque International à Luxembourg in Switzerland. In 2015 Volkan moved to the insurance industry and joined Swiss Life Global Solutions, where he worked as Sales Director for the Turkish Market.

Emanuele Banfi
Emanuele Banfi has over 6 years of experience in the Life Insurance Business & PPLI solutions. Graduated in Business & Finance at Bocconi University in Milan, he holds a Master of Science in Finance and a Master in Family Office. Fully qualified and registered with the Financial Market Authority (FMA) in Liechtenstein, he began his career as an M&A Analyst for several Financial Boutiques in Milan before moving into sales roles. He later served as Sales Associate for Valorlife AG and as Senior Sales Manager at Youplus AG, serving the Italian (U)HNW clients.
He joined Octium in 2021 as Director Italy & International Solutions.

Simone Feinstein-Locher
Simone Feinstein-Locher has more than 20 years of experience in the Private Banking and insurance industry covering various positions. She graduated from the University of Basel (Switzerland) and holds a Master of Law degree.
She started her career in 2000 at UBS AG as a Financial Planner with focus in succession planning and was responsible for Swiss and International clients. In 2003, she moved to Credit Suisse Trust AG, where she was responsible for the European market, setting-up and managing structures. In 2006 she moved to the insurance department of Credit Suisse Group, joining Credit Suisse Life & Pensions as a Director responsible for the European Market, in particular the German Market. In 2022 Simone joined Octium Group as a Director for Germany.

David Teixeira
David Teixeira has over 15 years of experience in the Life Insurance and Banking industry, with a particular focus on Life insurance solutions for (U)HNWI in Portugal.
After graduating in EU Affairs, he started his career at the Portuguese Permanent Representation to the European Commission in Brussels. He then relocated to Luxembourg where he worked for the Life Insurance Industry at Swiss Life. After having completed the International Taxation graduation at Universidade Católica Portuguesa he then joined in 2022 the Private Banking industry at CA Indosuez Europe. After almost 13 years in Luxembourg, he decided to join Octium AG as Head of Iberia and LATAM.

Camilo Valencia
With nearly a decade of experience in the life insurance industry, Camilo Valencia has a strong background in sales and product management. After graduating in Business Administration, he started his career at Swiss Life and then moved to Allianz, where he focused on customer relations and sales. In 2022, he joined Octium Group as Junior Product Manager, progressing to Product Manager, before becoming Director for Germany & Spain in 2024. He is fully qualified and registered with FMA (Financial market Authority in Liechtenstein).

Esther Petrocelli
Esther Petrocelli has over a decade of experience in the life insurance industry, following previous roles in other sectors. She spent eight years at Swiss Life, specialising in client services and serving as Business Coordinator for the Market Unit International. Since 2022, she has been a key member of Octium’s Germany & International Solutions team, bringing her expertise to the forefront. Esther is a Certified Wealth Advisor IAF (Association for Continuous Education in the Financial Industry) and is officially registered with the FMA (Financial Market Authority) in Liechtenstein.

Sergios Katsaros
Sergios Katsaros has 25 years of experience in finance, business development and asset management. After graduating with an MEng and an MBA from the University of Bristol in the UK, he began his career developing the market for the German Stock Exchange XETRA, covering Greece, Italy and Scandinavia. Throughout his career, he has held various roles, including Private Banker from 2006 to 2013 at Alpha Bank, one of Greece’s four systematic banks. During this time, he became fully licensed for clients Portfolio Management. He later pursued alternative business and investment ventures, before establishing and managing the Greek subsidiary of Octium’s Agent in 2023. He is fully certified by the Bank of Greece for the distribution of investment-linked insurance products.
